Today’s card immediately brought to mind the movie, “How to Make an American Quilt”. A varied group of fascinating women come together to create beautiful quilts. Where Love Resides, is the name/theme of the quilt they are creating for Finn, ( a granddaughter to one of the main characters) as a wedding present. The task if for each seamstress to create a block which illustrates “where love resides”. Their stories unfold as the quilt comes together, expressing both the individual and their points of view, but also how these are all intertwined with their histories as a group.
Today is about teamwork by bringing your own unique gifts to a project or plan. Everyone’s idea or vision is valid, so all offerings should be considered. Collaboration…it can be a wonderful thing.
